Client-Side Ad Insertion in the Phenix system

The Phenix encoder parses SCTE ad markers from input MPEG transport streams. The Phenix system passes through the raw marker data (see the SCTE standard ).

The Phenix SDKs do not process SCTE markers. They make the data available to other applications running on the viewer's device, which can then perform ad fetching and insertion activitites.
