Closed Captions in the Phenix system

The Phenix Encoder extracts closed captions from video data found in MPEG transport streams (MPEG-TS) and sends them through the Phenix system as data messages. The data messages can be presented by the Phenix SDK on iOS and Android.

The JSON format allows the SDK to distinguish between different streams by examining the service ID (CC1 through CC4). Users of the SDK client can select any one of those streams at a time.
