Managing Rooms

Quickly and easily verify Room status and manage Rooms on the fly via the Customer Portal.

The Phenix Customer Portal gives portal users the ability to verify room status, preview the current video & audio, and manage rooms in real time.

• Manage rooms with Create & Delete

• List and find channels

• Control streams within a room with terminate stream

• Check on room details

  • View primary stream

  • View all streams

  • Find HLS & DASH links if enabled

  • Get room properties such as room Alias and room ID

  • View and manage messages sent in the room

  • Resolution and frame rate in frames per second (FPS) shown for video previews in the Details view

• Generate and copy EdgeAuth tokens for publishing or subscribing using the page accessed via the "EdgeAuth" menu item from any room in the room list. You can select the duration and capabilities for the link. These links can be used as-is, embedded in web pages, or the tokens can be used as you would any EdgeAuth token.

• Use the Debug page to extract information from a token.
