The Portal provides easy access to Phenix reports as well as information that is only available via the Portal.
Portal Analytics allows you to track status and usage as it happens. You can also view usage information for current and past channels and viewers, including time to first frame, minutes published and viewed, viewer information and geographic breakdown.
There are two analytics areas in the Portal: Channel analytics and general analytics.
Individual Channel pages provide access to reports that are specific to the selected Channel.
The Reports page provides access to the Publishing and Viewing reports described here, filtered by the Channel you are currently viewing.
The Publishing History report shows data about publishing over the last 24 hours.
Select columns in the report using the column selector menu.
The Fork History report shows the source and destination, status of request, and other details for forked streams over the last 24 hours.
The Concurrents report shows the number of concurrent views for the Channel over the last 24 hours. Use the time selector to view periods other than the default time period.
The Ingest report shows buffer underruns, in milliseconds, which can be useful to see the connection quality, especially for RTMP ingest, over the last 24 hours. Use the time selector to view periods other than the default time period. Even if the underruns are too small to be seen on the graph, downloading the report may show a pattern of smaller underruns.
The Analytics area accessible via the site's main menu in the upper left of the page provides access to reports that cover all Channels and Rooms for your Application ID.
Available reports include Summary, Current Activity, Usage, and Time to First Frame.
Summary - overview of the previous 24 hours and 30 days of publishing and viewing
Current Activity - summary session and user data by country
Usage - publishing and usage numbers and trends. This report has been enhanced to allow portal users to select a time range for the report, and includes Minutes Per User and Minutes Per Stream
Time to First Frame - charts the TTFF for Real-Time, DASH Live, and HLS Live users.
Reports - provides access to the Publishing and Viewing reports described here.
